April 1979
Founded Tsuneishi Engineering Co., Ltd.
Started design of ships, marine structures, and steel structures.
October 1991Newly established the land-based machinery design section in the design department.
Expanded business to the field of designing steel frames and facilities for commercial buildings.
March 1996Moved to the shipbuilding factory building of Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
June 2000Newly established the technical service group.
Started to provide after-sales service to Tsuneishi shipbuilding-built ships.
November 2000 Obtained permission for specified worker dispatch undertaking.
December 2000Started to design self-generation plants.
Undertook overseas and domestic projects.
June 2001Made equity investment in establishing Tsuneishi (Zhenjiang) Steel Structure Co., Ltd. (TSI).
Started detailed design of passenger ship accommodation space for ship outfitting factory located in Zhenjiang, China with TSI.
September 2002Started production of Tsuneishi Engineering brand accommodation ladders at TSI.
Started sales through the associated group company “Sumihiro.”
December 2002Carried out detailed design of passenger ship accommodation space.
May 2004Obtained permission for general worker dispatch undertaking.
Started to dispatch shipbuilding and plant-related designers and engineers.
December 2004 Obtained permission for fee-charging employment placement.
Started employment placement of shipbuilding and plant-related designers and engineers.
February 2005Moved to the head office building of Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd.
January 2007Tsuneishi Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. carried out a merger of ten shipbuilding and shipping-related companies in the Tsuneishi Group, which was renamed the Tsuneishi Holdings Corporation; when the company name of Tsuneishi Engineering was changed to Tsuneishi Engineering Company.
June 2008ISO14001 accredited after receiving expanded reviews.
October 2008ISO9001 accredited after receiving expanded reviews.
January 2011Tsuneishi Holdings Corporation split up its company into five newly-established companies as well as two existing companies; where Tsuneishi Engineering Co., Ltd. took over the business of the former Tsuneishi Engineering Company on January 4.
