船幅方向に水平移動することで開閉するハッチカバーです。電気油圧式または電気駆動式のシリンダーでカバーを持ち上げ、モーター駆動のチェーンとワイヤーで引っ張ることで開閉します。
This type of hatch cover opens and closes by moving horizontally across the breadth of the ship. It works by lifting the cover with electrohydraulic or electric driven cylinders and sliding it by chain & wire with a motor.
艉艏方向に折りたたむことで開閉するハッチカバーです。ヒンジにより連結された1組のパネルが油圧シリンダーにより稼動し、ホイールがレール上を走行することで開閉します。
This type of hatch cover opens and closes by folding in the forward and aftward direction of the ship. By means of hydraulic cylinders, the panel on the cross-deck side (known as the end hinge panel) rotates around the end hinges. It is then linked to the other panel (known as the wheel panel) by intermediate hinges, and the wheel panel opens by being lifted by the end hinge panel as the wheels move along the rails.
動力を持たないハッチカバーです。本船上もしくは岸壁のクレーンで吊り上げることで開閉します。
This type of hatch cover does not have a self-opening system. The cover panels are lifted away by using on-deck cranes or shore cranes.
